Description: This is a set of net floats, of wood, reasonably plain and fairly complete. These floats were designed to keep the top or head of the net at the surface of the water with weights on the opposite side, holding it down. Eskimo fishing nets were usually made of baleen or thinly cut sea mammal hide and woven in a rectangular configuration three or so feet by up to twenty or more feet in size.
