Description: Female Cheyenne doll wearing a native tanned buckskin dress trimmed in beads and ocher. Russian blue faceted beads, cowrie and dentilium shells, and fringe, adorn the yoke, which is covered in yellow ocher. The face is beaded and rubbed with pigments. Accessories include bead earrings, a leather belt with German silver conchos and an iron buckle, a beaded awl case and strike-a-light bag that contains an iron fire steel. Buffalo hair braids hang five inches. The beaded high-top moccasins are adorned with German silver buttons.
